Speckled Saba is the product of a natural cross between the old red and white Saba Bean cultivars grown along the east coast of the United States since the Contact Period (1550-1650). It is still popular in the South where it has acquired a wide variety of local names. This is a prolific pole variety with 10-to-12-foot vines and heavy seed set late in the season. Roots perennialize where the ground does not freeze in the winter. The pink-flecked baby limas are ideal for pickles and chowchows. Minimum 25 seeds, $4.50. Germination 98%. Packed for 2025.
