“Moyamensing” African American Tomato

Also called Spring Garden Jail Tomato, Moyamensing is a medium-sized red heirloom preserved by Philadelphia school teacher M. J. Grooms, whose great-grandfather was a cook at the penitentiary. This is a rare non-commercial variety grown in the prison garden from the 1860s into the 1920s. Minimum 25 seeds.  Germination 92%.
