The Etowah (Hightower) pole bean originated in eastern Tennessee and northern Georgia. It is considered a pre-1830s variety maintained by the Overhill Cherokees and is related to the more famous Trail of Tears Bean. 10-foot vines. Cook as a snap bean or as a dry bean. 25 seeds.
