Criolla de Cocina Pepper
Capsicum annuum
Acquired in 1999 from a produce grower in Nicaragua, this deliciously sweet, wrinkled pepper was developed by a Nicaraguan experimental farm in the 1940s. It is perfect for salads and mixed pickles. The plants are short, compact, about 14 inches tall, thus easy to grow in pots or tubs. Minimum 25 seeds. Germination 94%.
