Brindle Corn

This extremely rare, speckled flint corn was preserved by the Stauffer Mennonites of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Dating from the 1840s it was used both for cornmeal and in powwow medicine (Braucherei). It figured heavily in prognostications as related in Dr. William Woys Weaver’s Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Tales. 90 to 110 days. 100 seeds.
